So much outfit envy you don't even know...

PERFORATED CARAMEL

ph. Vogue

I'm not normally a huge fan of Fendi, or of perforated leather for that matter, but if it will truly kill me if I can't find an affordable equivalent to this street-elegant, sporty suede jacket that appeared in their SS12 show earlier this week. Everything from the sparingly perforated suede in a perfect shade of caramel to the relaxed fit, oversized hood and loose cuffs... I don't know, I just really, really love it. And not to mention that gold leaf eye shadow poking through various fly-eye sunglasses! If I could pull that sort of thing off I oh most definitely would.

CANON COAT

Proenza Schouler SS12 camera bags - could have really done with one of these while walking the streets of London this week for my streetstyle feature. My poor Canon is probably sick of being battered against my side 24 hours a day...

KIMBERLEY OVITZ SS12

ph. Vogue

Never really knew much about Kimberley Ovitz but after this collection I'm definitely keeping a close eye. Insanely beautiful. If I was to get married I would definitely prefer wearing something like this rather than a traditional wedding dress. Absolute perfection.

THEYSKENS THEORY SS12

ph. Vogue

A wide array of stunning separates from Theyskens Theory with garments suitable for almost any occasion. The wearability and versatility is what attracts me to this collection most... my favourites being the open stitch knits, leather skinnies, the black and white separates and those gorgeous silk printed shorts! I love the lived-in feel, which can be dressed up with black ankle strap heels, which I'm seriously loving at the moment, but I'm more likely to incorporate a block heeled boot.

HELMUT LANG SS12

ph. Vogue

My favourite pieces from Helmut Lang. A collection almost completely devoid of colour (bar flashes of neon yellow, which I'm surprisingly into), focussing more on the loose flow of the draped fabric, opaque details and unfinished hems. And not forgetting the strong sportswear influence - something I'm quite openly a fan of. Definitely a new favourite. And as you may have well grasped my wardrobe lacks a considerable amount of colour but I have recently warmed to splashes of bright neons. In fact I was introduced to the head office's staff shop today and couldn't resist buying a neon orange and pink pocket tank. As long as the colours are in silky, loose fitting fabrics and paired with crisp whites and charcoal tones I'm definitely in. So so good.

SEVEN

So I'm back from Outlook festival and I still have huge holiday blues. I can safely say it was one of the best weeks of my life and everyone will be sadly missed. Currently in London for my styling intern this week and a couple of meetings and shows to attend at London Fashion Week next week. Will try to fit in a couple of outfit posts if possible but it's more than likely I won't be able to find a willing photographer. Until then I'll share with you my favourite collections from New York and London Fashion Week.
